We Tutor Mathematics from the 4th Grade level and up. At this age it is important to cultivate positive attitudes toward mathematics and solidify basic skills to ensure future success!
We always begin with a free consultation session to meet the parent(s) and/or guardian(s) alongside the student. We provide a short assessment to gauge the student's ability level and gain a sense of preferred learning strategies.
We only place students with Tutors that are experienced and enjoy working with children. All tutors must pass Vulnerable Sector/Criminal Record Checks as standard industry practice and have excellent references.
We develop a custom individualized learning plan for each student that adheres to and supplements the BC Math Curriculum and Provincial Learning Outcomes.
Parents are able to upload and share course materials from class with us or rely on the wide range of appropriate course materials we have on hand.
The Virtual Whiteboard software we conduct lessons with is interactive and intutitive to use. Even young students quickly learn to use and master its features!
We provide all our Grade 4-7 students with a small amount of homework to further reinforce their learning through practice at home. Tutors check and review homework assignments at the beginnning of each session.
Your child keeps the same Tutor at regular times each week for consistency and only ever learns in a One-to-One private setting.
We check in at regular intervals with Parents to provide feedback and evaluate student progress.
